Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Support

BSCC has partnership with the following organizaitons supporting mental health related issues. BSCC also assists in preparing client for their first group session, accompany client to their first appointment to ensure that client arrives at designated time, and is oriented to the environment and checking-in. 

 

Operation Samahan: No-cost therapy provided

Operation Samahan provides short-term mental health services, such as counseling
services in English and Spanish, and medical and dental services.

San Ysidro Health Clinic

San Ysidro Health Center provides medical, mental health and dental services across
multiple clinical locations.

Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT)

Clinical and forensic services include: therapy/counseling (individual or group); tele-med; evaluation / assessment of trauma. In addition to the direct services provided to clients, IVAT has also been working with BSCC to strengthen their trauma-informed approach to client centered work.
